TAGD Business Meetings
About TAGD Regular Business Meetings
The Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts holds regular business meetings in the winter and late spring to provide our members with the opportunity to engage in important organizational matters, hear timely presentations and updates in a speaker series, and network with the groundwater community.
TAGD business may include committee updates, financial approvals, dues settings, policy/bylaw revisions, representative appointments, and annual reports. In addition to our business agenda, we’ll feature a speaker series covering key issues impacting GCDs, legislative updates, funding opportunities, success stories, and more. Whether you’re looking for refresher sessions on the basics or insights into current trends, there’s something for everyone. At the end of the business meeting, we typically hold a networking happy hour with drinks and light bites (sponsorships available!) to allow everyone to catch up informally.
Public Funds Investment Act Training
TAGD is proud to offer Public Funds Investment Act Training, taught by Greg Ellis, that specifically focuses on the requirements and challenges faced by groundwater conservation districts. This training will take place in conjunction with the Spring 2025 Business Meeting, click here to register. A working lunch is included for those attending in person, provided registration is completed by June 5.
